in order to facilitate internet facility across
the campus.

Kardan is devoted to provide the
academic environment to every student, for this,
besides the library, every floor has the
facility of study area for the students.
i-korner
Information Corners in each floor has eased
administration communicating with the students
which provide updated information.

Library
Kardan library facilitate
students to access information quickly and at
doorstep, the library is equipped with the
latest books, periodicals, magazines and
journals. The
Kardan library is a grand collection of
thousands of books, including valuable
manuscripts, from all over the world. The
library is amongst the best libraries of
Afghanistan.
The main library facilities include:
- 10,000 volumes
- Internet to access online
material in the library
- Special collections
including videos
- A range of study spaces
with provision for group and quiet study
Computer Labs
The elaborate computer
facilities at the main and other campuses of the
institute offer extensive usage hours and
state-of-the-art hardware and variety of
software’s to make computing real learning
experience. The facilities comprise networked
PCs (Pentium IV) linked to a wide range of
software, communication and print services. The
open access policy to the Internet at campus is
a part of an extensive, “Broadband” information
network connecting students to the latest update
information on the internet.
Audio and Visual
Facilities
The aim being to make the
teaching-learning process effective and better,
the courses at Kardan are designed to be
conducted with the aid of the latest
audio-visual facilities, including multimedia
projectors, video films, software programs and
models etc. which are provided as a necessary
part in the beautifully designed classrooms and
laboratories. |

Competitive Sport
The Cricket, football and table tennis teams of Kardan
are providing opportunity for competitive
sport. As well as playing in regular fixtures, teams
meet for weekly training sessions and are always on the
lookout for new players. Friendly matches for these and
other sports take place against local Institutions and
Organizations.

The students Union
of Kardan also organize various events on and
off the campus.

Students Union
Kardan Students Unions are here to make sure you
spend most of your time at the Institute. Students
Union organizes events on and off the campus, helps
students to set up and run societies, and support
various activities for the benefits of students. This
ensures every student on campus has the support they
need.
- Particularly, two societies are playing
important role in the extracurricular activities, these
are, Kardan magazine and blood donor society of Kardan.
