Economics is about choices and is at the heart of all decision-making.
Faculties and Departments
The objective of the Faculty of Economics is to provide comprehensive knowledge
across a range of theoretical and applied fields. We seek to instill in our
students an awareness of the values of education and the need for social
responsibility. The Faculty of Economics strives to achieve these objectives
through modern instructional methods, a relevant curriculum, and a healthy
relationship between academia and industry.
In order to provide practical understanding of the economic environment and to
help students learn modern techniques, the Faculty of Economics has established
2 departments i.e. Department of Management Sciences and Department of
Economics. The departments have great emphasis on preparing students to cope
with the business challenges in an ever changing global economic and financial
environment.
Both the departments have many full time faculty members including master degree
holders and PhDs from reputed foreign universities.
