Admission Procedure
Admissions to all programs at KIHE are granted on merit only. The main criterion
for admission is the performance of the applicant in the Entry Test and
Interview conducted by KIHE.
Application Submission
The application should be made on a prescribed form. It should be submitted to
KIHE Admissions Office with the processing fee.
Issuance of Admit Cards
The applicants will be issued an admit card, which the applicant must have at
the time of the Entry Test.
Entry
Test The Entry Tests are conducted at different centers of KIHE on specific dates. The candidates are assessed for
their general knowledge, analytical skills, alertness, language and
intelligence. Those who pass the Entry Test qualify for the next step of the
induction process i.e. an Interview.Applicants who have already completed their
diploma from Kardan Institute of Higher Education will be exempted from the
Entry Test of bachelor and associate degree programs.
Interview
The interviews are designed to bring out the qualities of the applicants, which
the applicant must have in order to succeed in their chosen programs and add
value to the quality education by participating in classroom discussions,
debates and conferences.
Document Check:
Candidates are required to bring the following documents in original on the day of Interview: 12th Grade Certificate
(Shahdat Nama) / Tasdeeq Nama / Itla Nama (Candidates of Bachelor and Associate
Degree / Diploma programs) Identity Card (Tizkara) Equivalence certificate in
case the degrees/certificates issued by international universities / boards
Validity of Admission Offer
The offer of admission will NOT remain valid if a candidate does not take admission in the semester for which the
offer is made
Admissions Policy’s Salient Points
KIHE Admission Policy may be stated as follows: Admission will be offered to all those who qualify merit-based
admission criteria irrespective of their race, religion, gender, ethnicity or
socio-economic conditions; Applying and registering for appearing in the Entry
Test; Qualifying the Entry Test or providing proof for exemption from the Entry
Test; Appearing for an Interview; Meeting the minimum academic eligibility
requirement for the concerned program as mentioned on page 37; Providing
equivalence certificate in case the degrees / certificates are issued by
international universities / boards. There are no reserved / quota seats of any
category at KIHE unless there is clear government notification for private
universities regarding quota; The cut-off for individual programs in the
entrance test will be decided by the ’Admissions Committee’ using rigorous
methods based on statistical analysis; Inability to deposit fee or submit
financial aid documents within the .
