.Program Overview
The Diploma in Business Administration offered by Kardan Institute of Higher
Education (KIHE) is designed for people looking for a foundation in business
fundamentals to make them more efficient and effective managers and
administrators. This Program prepares students from various backgrounds to
confidently advance in their careers, and is available to both domestic and
international students.
The program’s flexibility and suitability to a wide range of students have
generated great interest locally, nationally and internationally. Students in
the programs understand that IT background can supplement their undergraduate
knowledge in another field and add value to the enterprises they will eventually
work for. The knowledge gained both inside and outside the classroom will serve
our students well and act as a calling card, a credential and a cluster of
skills that will be their gateway to a successful future.
The 36-credit diploma (12 courses of 3 credits each) can be completed on a
part-time or full-time basis enabling students to fit their study program into
their busy lives. All courses are offered in the morning and in the evening to
accommodate both student groups.
Program Objective
The program leading to the degree of Diploma in Business Administration (DBA)
has the following objectives:
1,To enable students to have an appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to
manage and lead a business organization.
2,To equip students with the right knowledge, skills and experiences necessary
to start and run a new business.
3,To capable students to evaluate, interpret and present data to develop strong
arguments and make sound judgments in areas of business and management.
4,To enable students to develop the cultural sensitivity, ethical
responsibility, and social consciousness needed to become upright citizens of

The duration of Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) program is 1 year
consisting of 11 courses in 3 semesters and carrying 33 credit hours. Every year
new admissions are announced in Spring and Fall semesters for morning and
evening sessions.
